Moldova has declared a state of alert for 30 days, due to the risk of fuel shortages and the dangerous decrease in the Nistru River level. Authorities say that the country imports almost all fuels from Romania, and the blockades on oil exports from Kazakhstan, the Middle East war and the very low level of the Danube have overturned the deliveries of diesel, according to the PLUS reality.
The government of Chisinau has established, for a period of 30 days, the state of alert in the energy sector and the state of hydrological alert, in order to prevent the risks on the supply of fuel and water to the country. The decisions were taken at the extraordinary meeting on Tuesday, 28 July, of the cabinet of ministers.
