In the Vaucluse, between 2 a.m. and 3.30 a.m. on the night of Sunday 26th and Monday 27th April 2026, a simple check on the town of Vacqueyras went on a hunt on the country roads after a clear refusal to comply. Despite the flat tires, the fugitive continued his road, pushing two gendarmes to use their service weapon before he was finally arrested. Unfortunately, this type of scenario was no longer unusual.
