Following the inflation figures to be announced on July 3, new increases are coming with the Special Consumption Tax increase for cigarettes and alcoholic beverages. An average of 5 TL is expected for cigarettes, 20 TL for beer, and approximately 15% for other alcoholic beverages. So, when will the increase for cigarettes come into effect?
