Alberta does not want to be part of the federal pharmacare program

The Government of Alberta does not intend to participate in the universal pharmacare program that is expected in the wake of a federal agreement between the New Democratic Party (NDP) and the Liberal Party of Canada (Liberal Party of Canada (LPC). The province says it wants to opt for financial compensation.
