Lebanese sources reported a large explosion carried out by Israeli forces in the town of Khayam in southern Lebanon.
According to the National Information Agency, the official Lebanese news agency reported that the bombing was "concentrated in an area stretching from the spring of Al-Kheybah, to the Burbat junction, about 300 metres long," adding "the explosion was extremely powerful, with its storm reaching the towns of New Marjayoun and Qal'a and surrounding areas."

A powerful explosion rocked the city of Al-Hiam, in the Nabatieh governorate of southern Lebanon, with the tremors felt across much of the area, causing disruption. The Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reports that information on the causes of the explosion, as well as any casualties or damage, remains under investigation.
