Alabama man arrested after 2 elderly women dead for days found under a tarp

A 37-year-old Fort Payne man was arrested Thursday after authorities received a report of two dead women in a home in Fyffe, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office announced on Saturday.DeKalb County deputies, along with the Powell Police Department and DeKalb Ambulance Service went to the house in the 200 block of County Road 158 with the DeKalb County Drug and Major Crimes Unit.

Authorities are continuing to investigate after two women were found deceased inside a Fyffe residence on Thursday.
