Akshay Kumar had visited Kedarnath, in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, on 23rd May 23. There too he was surrounded by tight security as he entered the temple. His plans for visiting the pilgrimage location were kept secret. The actor was accompanied by tight security as he offered prayers at the holy place. Situated on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river, Kedarnath temple is said to have one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

Videos doing rounds on social media see Akshay dressed in a black hoodie and track pants while he kept his calm despite the huge crowd as he visited the Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand. He also greeted fans with folded hands in one of the photos that have been doing rounds.
