A group of at least 100 Ajax supporters briefly blocked the team’s bus on the A4 highway near Hoofddorp on Sunday, police said. The supporters carried torches and crossed the road to the median, temporarily disrupting other traffic. The action was intended as a show of support for the team. “We understand supporting your club, but this is life-threatening. Fortunately, everything went well,” a police spokesperson said.
