The Middle of the Ajax Branco Van Den Boomen Operated From the Back and Absent Four Months

The former middle of TFC Branco van den Boomen, now in Ajax Amsterdam, has been caused by a persistent problem on the back and will be absent for at least four months.

Branco van den Boomen will be out of action for Ajax for the next three to six months. De Telegraaf reports that the experienced midfielder has undergone successful surgery at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam for a pinched nerve in his back. This injury kept him out of action in the final stages of last season.
