Airstrike kills 3 children in Yemen, and other Middle East developments
The Houthi-run health ministry said the strike hit homes and killed one 8-year-old and two 10-year-olds, while settler attacks left a journalist badly injured.
On Friday, an airstrike in Yemen's Dhamar province killed three children and wounded more than a dozen people in homes in the Dawran Aness district, according to Houthi officials.
The Houthi-run health ministry blamed Saudi Arabia for the strike, which occurs amid heightened fighting between the Iranian-backed Houthis and the kingdom and its Yemeni allies.
The children represent part of 124 deaths the Houthis say have occurred in their territories since fighting resumed in September, according to the health ministry.
Separately, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank on Friday, setting fires and beating residents during the annual olive harvest disruption this month.
Washington Post photographer Heidi Levine is undergoing surgery Saturday for injuries including a broken rib and finger after being attacked by settlers; her 'PRESS'-marked gear prevented worse harm.
