As of Tuesday, airlines certified in Suriname and Tanzania will no longer be allowed to fly in the European Union, the European Commission announced. The airlines have been placed on a list of companies that are not allowed to fly or are allowed to fly less in the EU "because they do not meet international safety standards", the Commission said in a statement.
