Airbus has appointed Remi Maillard, its former Head of South Asia, as reported by industry insiders. Maillard will also take over responsibility for the development of commercial aircraft and replace Sabine Klauke in both functions. From 1 July, Klauke will take over the management of the activities for the next generation of digital design and manufacturing in Airbus' main business.
