INDIA: Airbnb, a company that operates an online marketplace for short- and long-term homestays, signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India’s Ministry of Tourism to strengthen the country’s homestay ecosystem and emerging destinations.

Airbnb and India’s Ministry of Tourism have struck a two-year MoU to enhance the country’s homestay economy and promote growing tourism destinations. The relationship will cover digital onboarding, training, hospitality best practices, listing development, pricing and platform features.
