A few hours after Bouygues Telecom, another French giant announced that he had been the victim of a data leak. The airline Air France will contact all customers targeted one by one.
Information such as passenger names and contact information was reportedly exposed as a result of a computer intrusion.
"No sensitive data such as passwords, travel data, Miles Flying Blue's balance [Air France's loyalty program], passport or credit card numbers have been disclosed," the airline said.
However, the most sensitive data, such as card and passport numbers, are not concerned, reassures the airline.
Air France was targeted by a major cyber security bridge, which resulted in the personal data of passengers, including Romanian citizens, being compromised. The air company sent emails this evening to persons affected by the incident.
