Unions allege mechanical components destined for Israeli arms manufacturer were scheduled for flight to Tel Aviv
When questioned by the CGT and the Union Solidaires, who denounced a delivery this Thursday of "global reducers" for the equipment of military vehicles, the airline assures that it "does not carry weapons or ammunition on its flights to Israel".
"Air France does not have a reservation for this type of goods on its flights," the French company says on Thursday.
Air France has denied allegations by French unions that its AF966 flight from Paris to Tel Aviv carried ammunition for an Israeli arms company. The company maintained that no weapons or ammunition were transported on the flights and that international transportation regulations were fully complied with.
