SERDANG: An innovation by Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) allows the weight and length of fish to be identified using only a camera combined with artificial intelligence (AI), without having to touch or lift the fish. UniKL lecturer and product developer, Yosof Kadase said the system, known as iFishWeight, was trained using data from 180 fish from the Malaysian Fisheries Research Institute (FRI), Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
