Fatih Erbakan, leader of the Re-Welfare Party, commented on developments in the fund market, stating, "There is talk of a $20 billion loss, or 900 billion Turkish Lira," and demanded that political connections be revealed. Erbakan, stating that if early elections are to be held, they should be no later than the autumn of 2027, added that "it should not be an election held solely for the purpose of the President's re-election."
As discussions continue regarding the fund crisis, a noteworthy message came from Presidential Chief Advisor Oktay Saral. Regarding the scope of the investigation, Saral stated, "No matter where it leads, no matter who it implicates, the truth must be revealed in its entirety."
