Against psychiatric diagnostics to prevent suicidal assistance

Dipl. Psych. Dr. Elke Lemke (1961-2025) worked in the Berlin Social Psychiatric Service. She experienced the determination there for suicide prevention – in the sense of unconditional prevention of self-killing – as a depressing consequence for those affected. She leaves behind an impressive treatise on her free responsibility, which was published a year before her death.
