Traffic was suspended between Lod and Beersheba stations, and between Lod and Beit Shemesh stations. Passengers whose destination or origin is Beersheba can use the Western Negev Line (via Sderot, Netivot and Ofakim stations), which operates as usual. About two hours later, Israel Railways announced that traffic had returned to normal.
