The Simeon Columned Citadel in rural Aleppo reopened to visitors on World Tourism Day after more than 14 years. The historic structure, which suffered damage to its octagonal section during six Russian airstrikes in the Syrian revolution and the February 6th earthquake, officially welcomed visitors with a ceremony.
