AEW WrestleDream 2026: Full Match Card Featuring Clockwork Carnage
Will Ospreay survived seven challengers in the first Clockwork Carnage match, while Ilja Dragunov made his AEW debut and several titles changed hands.
On Saturday, October 17, AEW World Champion Will Ospreay retained his title at AEW WrestleDream in Orlando, Florida, pinning Adam Copeland with a Hidden Blade in the final seconds of the inaugural eight-man Clockwork Carnage match.
The Clockwork Carnage match combined a gauntlet eliminator phase with a 15-minute scoring period where pinfalls and submissions counted as one point each. Adam Copeland replaced the injured Jay White in the eight-man lineup.
Ospreay finished with three falls to secure the championship, while former WWE star Ilja Dragunov debuted at WrestleDream, arriving to a massive crowd response in his introduction to All Elite Wrestling.
AEW CEO Tony Khan confirmed that Dragunov would make his in-ring debut on yesterday's AEW Dynamite in Coral Gables, Florida, facing "Speedball" Mike Bailey following the WrestleDream event.
Copeland signaled his intent to pursue the World Championship after a post-match handshake with Ospreay, while Dragunov's arrival positions AEW to expand its competitive landscape with fresh high-profile talent.
