AEW WrestleDream 2026: Full Match Card Featuring Clockwork Carnage
Will Ospreay kept the AEW Men’s World Championship by scoring three points and pinning Adam Copeland with two seconds left.
- On Saturday, October 17, 2026, AEW World Champion Will Ospreay successfully defended his title at AEW WrestleDream in Orlando, Florida, by winning the promotion's first-ever eight-man Clockwork Carnage match at Addition Financial Arena.
- Ospreay brought the Clockwork Carnage stipulation to AEW from Pro Wrestling EVE, a United Kingdom promotion where he works behind the scenes. The format combines gauntlet-style entries with a 15-minute scoring phase where pinfalls and submissions determine the winner.
- Defeating seven challengers including Adam Copeland and Samoa Joe, Ospreay secured the victory with three points. AEW distributed 6,005 tickets for the event from a 6,708-seat setup at the arena.
- Following the main event, AEW CEO Tony Khan officially confirmed that Ilja Dragunov has signed with the company. The former WWE star made his surprise debut during the WrestleDream broadcast to a sold-out crowd.
- Dragunov will make his in-ring debut this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite in Coral Gables, Florida. Meanwhile, Copeland continues his farewell tour, having announced 2027 as his final year as an in-ring performer.
