On the early morning of the 25th, Taro Hosokawa, a bird lover in the city, photographed a female adult Noguchi's woodpecker, a national special natural monument and endemic to the Yanbaru region, on Mount Nago in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture. This is the first time this year that a female adult bird has been spotted on Mount Nago.
