Adobe's Firefly generative AI models are now generally available, get pricing plans

  • Adobe has announced the official release of Firefly in its Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms. This includes features like generative fill and generative expand in Photoshop, which are now available without the need to install the beta version.
  • To measure user interaction with Firefly, Adobe will introduce "generative credits" that will be used to charge for the service. Different Adobe plans will come with different amounts of generative credits, ranging from 25 for free users to 3,000 for Creative Cloud Pro Plus All Apps plan subscribers. Once users run out of credits, Firefly will run slower.
  • Adobe has trained the Firefly models using images from its Adobe Stock collection, ensuring their commercial safety for businesses. In addition, Adobe will indemnify its enterprise users against potential lawsuits related to using Firefly-generated images.
