The High Court in Novi Sad issued a verdict obliging the defendants Joint-Stock Company for the Management of Public Railway Infrastructure "Infrastruktur železnice Srbije" Belgrade and the Republic of Serbia to jointly and severally pay the plaintiffs, the family members of those injured in the fall of the canopy, compensation for non-material damages for the mental pain suffered due to the death of a close person.
