Almost half of Peru's shipments to the United States (US$5.336 million, equivalent to 49.7% of the total shipped to that market in 2025), is subject to the additional tariff of 12.5%, with the decision made by that country in the framework of an investigation on the import of goods produced with forced labour, said the Center for Economics and Global Business Research of the Association of Exporters CIEN-ADEX.
