Additional firefighters, infrastructure changes needed as De Soto prepares for Panasonic Plant

The fire district is adding seven new firefighters to keep up as more people make their way to western Johnson County. The road work, water and sewage changes, upgrades to energy systems, and fire department additions are expected to be ready at the same time the plant opens.
