(Adair County, IA) — At Wednesday’s meeting, The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved a request to recover some of the tracks from the Jesse James Historical Site for redistribution. The board heard from writer Gene Stevens who says that a portion of the railway is caught in rubble along Turkey Creek, and it could be redistributed to different historical sites and museums in the country.
