Thousands of faithful and pilgrims have begun to occupy from the early hours of the morning of this Sunday 7 June the spaces authorized around Cibeles Square to attend the Mass presided by Pope Leo XIV, on a day marked by the festive atmosphere, expectation and signs of faith arrived from many points of the Spanish State.
Pope Leo XIV faces June 7 the second day of his apostolic journey to Spain which, after his stay in Madrid — from 6 to 9 June — will take him to Barcelona, Gran Canaria and Tenerife until 12 June. Mass in Cibeles Square and the meeting with representatives of culture or sport make up part of the events planned for this Sunday.
