Former FC de Kampioenen actor Walter Michiels passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 62. After an incurable brain tumor was diagnosed in April, the former actor opted for euthanasia. His request was granted at AZ Turnhout in the presence of his family. This is reported by Nieuwsblad.

De Kampioenen', but was subsequently marked primarily by addictions and mental health problems. Walter suffered from an incurable disease and chose euthanasia. He was 62 years old.
