JOLIET, Ill. — An "active incident" has prompted a shelter-in-place order in a part of Joliet Friday afternoon. The incident has been ongoing in the 900 block of Ann Street since around 1:30 p.m. Police are asking people to avoid the area to allow police and fire personnel.
