Reigning champion Danielle Hill makes successful return in 50m Backstroke to progress to semi-finals at European Aquatics Championships in Paris
Larne swimmer Danielle Hill made a successful return to championship action in the 50m Backstroke for Team Ireland at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris on Wednesday.
PARIS. No rest for Sara Junevik even though she will swim the European Championship final in the 50-meter butterfly on Wednesday evening. Instead of resting, she swam trials in both the 50-meter backstroke and one of the legs in the team race that morning. Here is a report from the third day of the European Championship:
Serbian swimmers Nikola Aćin, Velimir Stjepanović and Justin Cvetkov failed to qualify for the semifinals of the 100-meter freestyle race at the European Championships in Paris.
French swimmer Yohann Ndoye Brouard finished first in his heat at the European Swimming Championships qualifiers. However, he did not qualify for the semi-finals and is therefore out of the competition.
