Prague - France has awarded the Chief of the General Staff, Karel Řehka, the National Order of Merit with the rank of Commander. The award was presented to the head of the Czech Army by the French Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Stéphane Crouzat. Řehka was honored, among other things, for his role in the development of Czech-French military cooperation.
