- Prime Video's The Narrow Road to the Deep North pulled down nine TV wins, including Best Lead Actor for Jacob Elordi and craft prizes across direction, cinematography, and editing.
- Sally Hawkins won Best Lead Actress in Film for Bring Her Back, The Newsreader took Best Drama and Anna Torv won Best Lead Actress in a Drama, while AACTA honoured industry veterans.
- Baz Luhrmann told the festival, "We are on fire, Queensland is on fire, the country is on fire creatively," and observers suggested the AACTA wins could bolster Academy Award campaigns as the five-day AACTA Festival runs through February 8.
