A staircase collapsed Saturday in a building damaged by last year's floods in Spain -- the deadliest in decades -- killing one person and injuring another, emergency services said.
The victims were cleaning a car park affected by the floods of October 29, which killed 232 people, almost all of them in the Valencia region.
A 45-year-old man died this Saturday afternoon in Benetússer, one of the most affected Valencian localities by the dana, when the staircase leading to a garage that was cleaning mud has caved in and collapsed, official sources confirm to this newspaper.
