Avignon: 36-year-old man shot dead in a bar

Two people, equipped with a "weapon of war", shot the victim before they fled; they have not yet been found.

The incident reportedly occurred around 9 p.m. in the La Croix-des-Oiseaux district, south of the city. The Division of Organized and Specialized Crime (DCOS) of the police was seized.

"Well known to the police," the victim was found with "at least two bullets in the body, including one in the head," according to a police source.
