A van carrying furniture burned down in Písek

South Bohemian firefighters were driving out on Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m. to the village of Nový Dvůr na Písek, where a van loaded with furniture began to burn. The flames were brought under control within half an hour. Two men were travelling in the van; they got out of the burning car in time.

A van full of furniture caught fire on Tuesday afternoon on the main road from Písek to České Budějovice near the village of Nový Dvůr. The two men got out of the vehicle in time. When they tried to put out the flames, both inhaled smoke. However, they refused to be taken to the hospital. Firefighters extinguished the fire within half an hour.
