Mehmet Can Gür, an intensive care nurse who was injured when an UMKE vehicle carrying organs from Giresun to Samsun for organ transplantation hit a power pole in Terme district of Samsun, died in the hospital where he was being treated. The funeral of 26-year-old Gürs was taken to the Samsun Forensic Group Head for autopsy.

Mehmet Can Gür, a 26-year-old UMKE (National Medical Rescue Team) member and intensive care nurse who lost his life in a car accident while en route to transport organs for transplantation in Terme district of Samsun, was bid farewell at a ceremony. The driver, Mehmet Akif Çıplak, who was injured in the accident, attended the ceremony in a wheelchair and broke down in tears after the young nurse's passing.
