The driver and two elderly passengers of a tuk-tuk were killed when a BMW driven by a man returning home after watching the World Cup final hit their vehicle on a road in a housing estate in Nonthaburi early Monday morning.
Nonthaburi: A 31-year-old man driving a BMW crashed into a tuk-tuk in a village in the Bang Bua Thong area, resulting in three fatalities. He claimed he couldn't see the tuk-tuk. His blood alcohol level was measured at 152 milligrams per cent. Police have taken him into custody for legal proceedings.
