Bread Spread Ltd, based at Southall in London, and its director Premalkumar Patel pleaded guilty to 21 counts of serious food hygiene failures.

A sandwich supplier in Southall's been fined almost £47,000 for breaking hygiene rules.

Bread Spread Limited admitted 21 counts, with a court told products had been mis-labelled with the wrong shelf life. The company was also accused of ignoring warnings from Ealing Council, to improve. It supplies to supermarkets and corner shops across the UK.
