Footage showing a priest kicking his foot into a fence behind which a dog is running and then trying to hit the animal with a bag and an object picked up from the ground circulated on social media on Sunday. The case was addressed today by the Archdiocese of Warmia. A priest from the parish of St. Martin in Tolkowiec (Braniewski district) received an admonition. “We strongly disapprove of this attitude,” the curia said in a statement.

The Archdiocese of Warmia issued a statement about a priest who tried to kick a dog through a fence net and then hit him with a bag. A spokesman for the archdiocese said the priest had received an “appropriate admonition”.

Father Daniel Wachowiak, known for his activity on social media, strongly condemned the behavior of his colleague. He used such terms as: "idiotic behavior", "primitive reflexes", "aggression and stupidity". This is how he referred to the situation captured on the recording.
