A protest of dissatisfied doctors held in Zagreb

Around 1500 doctors from all over Croatia protested in front of the government building in Zagreb, urging it to take urgent measures to save the Croatian health system. Doctors warned of their own overload and poor working conditions, and accused the government led by Andrei Plenkovic of ignoring their demands.

Croatian doctors hold protest in downtown Zagreb

Under the slogan “SOS for healthcare,” five umbrella medical organizations are organising a protest rally outside the government building in Zagreb on Saturday to express their dissatisfaction with the poor state of affairs in the public healthcare system and with their material entitlements.
