The celestial bodies collide with each other. In 1994, comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 crashed against Jupiter. In 2013, a space rock of about 20 meters entered the Earth's atmosphere over Russia, disintegrating dramatically, not before being widely recorded on video. Barringer crater in Arizona is the result of a great impact and, as is known, the extinction of dinosaurs is attributed to an even more colossal collision.
On Friday, June 6, asteroid 424482 (2008 DG5), which is considered potentially dangerous, will fly near the Earth. — Ukrinform.
