Following the publication of the "Law on a Terror-Free Turkey," which was passed with broad consensus in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, in the Official Gazette, a new phase has begun in the process. As part of the efforts to implement the law, an 8-member Monitoring Board has been established under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. The board will hold its first meeting on August 24th.
