Opava - A new bridge over the Opava River in Ratibořská Street opened in Opava today. Pedestrians can cross it from around 1:00 p.m., and several hundred people came to try it out. It will also open to car traffic in the afternoon. The 55 million crown bridge was built on the site of the original bridge, which was so damaged by a flood last September that it had to be demolished.
