A mysterious silver amulet of almost 2,000 years old revolutionizes the history of Christianity

A small silver amulet, only 3.5 centimeters in size, with a thin foil that includes a mysterious incision and a rolled inscription that speaks of Jesus, will greatly enrich the existing research on the spread of Christianity and the late period of Roman rule on the right bank of the Rhine. It was found in a tomb dating from the 230s to 270s after Christ, located on the outskirts of Frankfurt, in present-day Germany.
