VANCOUVER — Environment Canada says an unusual fresh air mass in southern British Columbia has caused record cold temperatures for the time of year, including one that dates back about 70 years. The agency says temperatures fell to 4 degrees Celsius in the region around the town of Trail on Sunday, beating the low of 4.4 degrees set in 1954.
