Officers were called to Vicarage Lane following reports of a stabbing between 1.15 and 1.25 in the early hours of this morning. A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition. Vicarage Lane was closed between Heathcroft Avenue and the M3 for several hours but has now reopened. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
