A man in the Strakonice region chased a dog off the tracks and was hit by a train

An 80-year-old man was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon when he was hit by a train at a level crossing in Vodňany in the Strakonice region. The man had managed to chase his dog off the tracks and did not hear the approaching train.
