Police have managed to bring back to their homeland a man who was hiding in South America to avoid going to prison for sexual abuse and other crimes. He was arrested in Uruguay in late April and extradited to the Czech Republic.
A man has been in a Czech prison since this week after trying to flee abroad to avoid a three-year sentence for sexual abuse and other crimes. Czech police officers and Interpol representatives escorted him to the Czech Republic from Uruguay. Police Presidium spokesman David Schön said this on the police website.
Police, in cooperation with Interpol, have extradited a man from Uruguay who tried to escape a three-year sentence for sexual abuse. Thanks to the speedy extradition, he is already serving his sentence.
A man accused of sexual abuse with carnal access to the detriment of a minor was extradited from Brazil, in the framework of an operation supervised by the Ministry of National Security and personnel of the General Directorate of International Police Cooperation of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA).
